LEARN visited John Paul 1 to support them in implementing a makerspace in their high school. Great conversation started in their early maker journey. We lead a collective brainstorm on what learning, making and engagement looked and felt like in the teachers experience. We then challenged the teachers to build a robot that draws all by itself! Everyone felt success and excitement. Looking forward to visiting JP1 again soon.

I really enjoyed the time we had to feel like a student in a makerspace. I also really enjoyed sylvia and chris’ presentation. Sylvia is so animated and chris is great with feedback. They teally showed us how a makerspace would work.
