LEARN spend two days working with the amazing students of Massey-Vanier High School in Cowansville Quebec. Our focus was on WOPT students and bring them a hands on STEAM experience. These students crafted, designed, built, explored, questioned, imagined, learned, glued, taped, discovered, drew, programmed, cut all in a day! Each day we started with a group challenge, then in the afternoon we brought our pop-up makerspace for students to learn and enjoy.

genius!

Day one; wind turbines. Day two; artbots of matter. With the wind turbines, students needed to design and build a wind turbine and we measured the amount of electricity it could produce – 0.890 volts was out top turbine. Congrats Pesky Mill.

On the second day students needed to design and build artbots that could draw a representation of the states of matter. It was a real pleasure working with this engaged and intelligent students. I know I learned a ton just from being around them. Thanks MV.
