C at Connect 2015_DC Implementation

Eastern Shores School Board was well represented at the annual ConnectEd Conference in Niagara Falls.

We had the opportunity to present our Digital Citizenship Initiative, exchange resources and learn with educators from across North America.

As usual, student voice had the biggest impact when demonstrating our learning.  Have a look at our expert talking about her experience with digital citizenship.Connect ESSB DC Youtube video

There were so many great messages and learning nuggets obtained at the Connect Education Conference.

Connect Eric SheningerOne comment particularly struck a chord.  It was a message from Keynote Speaker Eric Sheninger (a new trend in educational leadership, Eric is a Principal and…best-selling author!)

The message is, “Tell your Story!”

So… we did, and continue to do it with the Eastern Shores School Board Digital Citizenship Initiative.  We are blogging about it, tweeting about it, and networking with peers to talk about it.

Connect BookmarkAs a comprehensive ‘take-away’ for our attendees at the conference, we provided a bookmark containing links to all of our digital citizenship resources.  Here it is for you to enjoy and share with your learning communities.

We are thrilled to tell our story, but we also love to hear from others.  It keeps us inspired and lends direction to build all of our stories.

So tell us….What’s your DC story?

If you know educators taking the plunge into Digital Citizenship and could benefit from sharing experiences, please pass along this blog.  We welcome your comments and resources to expand our Digital Citizenship learning
